MBM Law (Maiello Brungo & Maiello, LLP) is proud to announce that partner, Christina Lane, has been inducted as the 2025 President of the Pennsylvania School Board Solicitor’s Association (PSBSA), a division of the Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA), at its Annual Meeting on October 6. Attorney Lane currently serves as the President-elect and will take office January 1st, 2025. As President of the PSBSA, Christina will also serve as a member of the Advisory Council of PSBA.
Christina Lane: A Proven Education Law Expert
Christina is an accomplished school, municipal, and labor and employment attorney who has been practicing law in Pennsylvania since 1995 as both solicitor and special counsel. Having provided legal counsel to multiple school districts for almost 30 years, Ms. Lane has encountered myriad education law issues involving regulatory compliance, policy development, collective bargaining, employee discipline, student services, accommodation requests, and litigation avoidance. She is regularly invited to present at education law seminars throughout the state.

Lane’s legal accomplishments earned her recognition as a 2024 and 2025 Best Lawyer® for Litigation—Labor and Employment. She holds a J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law and her bachelor’s degree from Washington & Jefferson College.

PSBA is a private, nonprofit membership association dedicated to serving Pennsylvania’s elected school board directors. PSBA has provided services, advocacy, and counsel to inform and engage the local leadership of the commonwealth’s public schools for nearly 130 years.
