The Pittsburgh law firm of Maiello Brungo & Maiello was unanimously appointed Solicitor for the Allegheny County North Tax Collection Committee (TCC). Lawrence J. Maiello, Michael L. Brungo and Falco A. Muscante will be the primary attorneys for the TCC. The firm also serves as solicitor to the Allegheny County Southwest and Westmoreland County TCCs.
Prior to this appointment, Lawrence J. Maiello, Michael L. Brungo, Falco A. Muscante and MB&M have served and continue to serve as solicitors for School Districts, municipalities and intergovernmental entities such as Councils of Governments and Joint Sewer Authorities. In these roles, as well as their recent appointment to Solicitor for the Allegheny Count Southwest and Westmoreland County TCCs, they provide legal advice to municipalities and school districts working cooperatively for their mutual benefit. With almost 20 years of experience in delinquent EIT and real estate collections, MB&M is prepared to assist the Allegheny North TCC in minimizing the disruption To EIT collection and reducing any negative budgetary impact as the new tax collection program under Act 32 becomes operational.
