OVERVIEW
Ryan C. Thomas is a member of Maiello Brungo & Maiello’s (MBM Law) nationally recognized Education Law and Municipal Law teams. He joined MBM Law after practicing at a Philadelphia-based law firm specializing in public sector law.
At MBM Law, Ryan will provide counsel to and be attending meetings for the boroughs, townships, school districts, water and sewer authorities, and zoning boards which the firm represents.
Ryan earned his J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 2023 and his Tax LL.M. in 2024, equipping him with a robust foundation in tax law. In law school Ryan served as the Executive Editor for the Jeffrey S. Moorad Sports Law Journal during the 2022-2023 school year, which enhanced his knowledge of sports law and will benefit our clients when dealing with Name Image Likeness (NIL) issues.
He holds a B.S. in Economics, summa cum laude, from Duquesne University, where he was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies. During law school, Ryan worked for the Honorable George A. Pagano of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas and served as both a teaching and research assistant.
Ryan is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania state courts.
